Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of Satta (we, us, our). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Satta.
Satta is currently offered as a beta product. Features, fees, jurisdictions, and availability may change. This document is not legal advice. You should obtain your own advice about whether your use is lawful in your location.
1. The service
Satta provides software for community prediction markets: proposing questions, trading outcome shares, viewing portfolios, and settling markets under published rules. During beta, trading is primarily paper or testnet unless we clearly state otherwise for a specific market.
2. Eligibility and lawful use
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher). You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of Satta is lawful where you live and from where you access the service. In Australia, interactive wagering and gambling-style services are regulated under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth) and related state and territory laws. Licensed wagering operators must meet licensing, consumer protection, and harm-minimisation requirements. Satta is not represented here as a licensed Australian wagering operator during beta. Do not use the service for real-money wagering where that would breach applicable law.
3. Beta, balances, and deposits
Unless we expressly enable real-money mode for your account and jurisdiction, balances and trades in beta are for demonstration, testing, or paper trading only. Deposit and withdrawal features may be unavailable, simulated, or subject to manual review. Do not treat beta balances as cash you can rely on.
4. Markets, trading, and settlement
Each market has its own rules, timing, fees, and settlement source shown on the market page. You are responsible for reading those rules before trading. We may reject, pause, cancel, or reverse activity where required by law, to address errors, fraud, abuse, or operational risk, or to protect other users.
5. Market integrity and fair play
You must trade honestly and in good faith. Without limiting other rules in these Terms, you must not:
- trade using material non-public information about how a market will resolve (insider trading), including information you receive because you organise, officiate, or otherwise control the underlying event;
- collude with market creators, event organisers, community staff, oracle operators, or other participants to manipulate prices, liquidity, timing, or settlement;
- engage in wash trading, layering, spoofing, or other deceptive or manipulative trading schemes.
If we reasonably believe you have breached this section, we may investigate using account records, trading data, and communications on the platform. You agree to cooperate with reasonable integrity reviews. We may, in our discretion:
- freeze, restrict, or terminate your account;
- void, cancel, or reverse affected trades, positions, or settlements;
- claw back unfair gains credited to your account;
- refund or otherwise compensate users harmed by the conduct, to the extent we determine is fair and operationally feasible after review.
During beta, where trading is paper or testnet, remedies may take the form of balance adjustments, position resets, or suspension rather than cash refunds. Where real-money mode is enabled for a market, we will aim to place affected users in the position they would have been in but for the misconduct, which may include refunds, credits, or trade reversals. We may report serious misconduct to regulators or law enforcement where required or appropriate.
6. Fees
Applicable maker and taker fees are shown on the market or order ticket before you submit an order. Fees may change during beta. Creator reward tiers, if shown, are indicative until published as final for your account.
7. Responsible use and harm minimisation
Prediction and wagering-style products involve financial risk. Only participate with money you can afford to lose. Do not chase losses. Take breaks if trading stops feeling like entertainment.

8. Your conduct
You must not misuse the service, harass others, scrape or overload our systems, circumvent security controls, or use Satta for unlawful, misleading, or abusive activity. Market manipulation and collusion are addressed in section 5. We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or put the platform or other users at risk.
9. Liability and Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, or other non-excludable rights that apply to you.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity arising from beta instability, downtime, data errors, third-party service failures, or market settlement disputes, except where liability cannot be excluded. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of AUD $100 or the fees you paid us for the relevant market in the 3 months before the claim, except where a higher minimum is required by law.

11. Changes
We may update these Terms by publishing a new version on the site and updating the document version shown above. Material changes will be highlighted where practicable. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia for disputes arising from or relating to the service, subject to any non-excludable rights you have under consumer protection laws in your place of residence.
